It's very much a cross between a Jazz Cafe and a downtown coffee shop - connected by a small hallway to an intimate peforming space ... located across the street from the historic Thanks-Giving Square near the rail line off Akard and Pacific.
Our philosophy is to concentrate on local talent in promoting an array of musicians and artists from jazz nights to acoustic sets - dj's to spoken word performances - while also booking regional touring acts - comedians - special parties and events.
Furthermore - the set-up (for the artists) is the best deal in town:
* NO venue fee
* Light & sound man included
* & the artist(s) gets to keep 100% of the door (set your own price!)
* the only thing we ask in return is promotion of the venue and patronage of the cafe & bar : )
